International Students: Application
Bryant understands the contribution international students make to our community and wants the application process to be as simple as possible. To help ease the stress associated with the college admission process Bryant offers students many ways to apply. The same consideration is given to all the applications, so please chose the one most convenient for you.
How to Apply
- Apply with the Common Application, either online or through the mail (forms are available through your guidance counselor or at the Common Application website). Please download the Bryant supplement .pdf.

International Application Requirements
If you are applying to Bryant as an international freshman student you must submit the following items:
- Completed application form
- Essay ("Personal Statement")
- Recommendation from your secondary school counselor or principal
- Official SAT or ACT scores
- Evidence of English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS)
- All secondary school records
- Application fee ($50.00)
- Certificate of Finances and supporting bank documents
- If you are applying Early Decision, we must also have a list of your current courses and the Early Decision Supplement.
If you are applying to Bryant as an international transfer student you must submit the following items:
- Completed application form
- Essay ("Personal Statement")
- Official SAT or ACT scores if transferring with fewer than 10 college courses
- Evidence of English language proficiency
- All secondary school records
- Official university/college transcripts
- Application fee ($50.00)
- Certificate of Finances and supporting bank documents
- Mid-semester grade report (optional)
Bryant University accepts applications for both Early Decision and Regular Decision. Please keep in mind these important dates when applying:
November 16— Early Decision I deadline
If Bryant is your first-choice university we encourage you to apply Early Decision. In addition to receiving admission notification by December 16, eligible students that filed an estimated financial aid form will receive an estimated financial aid package. Applicants will also receive scholarship notification (if applicable).
By applying Early Decision I, you agree that, if admitted, you will withdraw all other college applications and enroll at Bryant University. A non-refundable commitment deposit is due by January 8, 2010.
December 1 - Early Action deadline
If Bryant is one of your top choices we encourage you to apply Early Action. In addition to receiving admission notification mid-January, students will receive scholarship notification along with their admission decision.
Early Action is non-binding, which means you get early notification, but your commitment deposit is not due until May 1, 2010.

January 4 - Early Decision II deadline
If between November 16 and January 4 you discover that Bryant is your first-choice universiy, we encourage you to apply under our Early Decision II program. The review process is the same as Early Decision I. In addition to receiving admission notification by February 4, eligible students that filed an estimated financial aid form will receive an estimated financial aid package. Applicants will also receive scholarship notification (if applicable).
By applying Early Decision II, you agree that, if admitted, you will withdraw all other college applications and enroll at Bryant University. A non-refundable commitment deposit is due by February 26, 2010.
February 1— Regular Decision deadline
Students applying Regular Decision will receive admission notification by the third week in March and must postmark their commitment deposit by May 1, 2010. Students will also receive scholarship notification (if applicable) and eligible students who completed the necessary forms will receive a financial aid package
