Interviews

Although not required, Bryant offers interviews to prospective students on campus Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and select Saturdays from May through February. To ensure that we can accommodate your schedule, interview appointments can be made by calling the Office of Admission at (800) 622-7001 or (401) 232-6100.

To better prepare for an interview, we encourage students to take a campus tour or attend an information session prior to interviewing. Notes taken during the interview are added to an applicant's file, and we have that information available during the application review process. During the interview, we hope to get to know the student better, learn about why they are interested in Bryant, and answer any questions.

In the fall, admission counselors are out of the office traveling to visit high schools and attend college fairs in your area, and admission fellows, a select group of upperclass Bryant students, conduct interviews for the Office of Admission. The interview is conducted in the same manner as with professional staff members, and current students are able to give a student's perspective as well. Notes from all interviews are placed in a student's file and they are available when a counselor is reviewing their application for admission.

Interviews provide a great opportunity for a prospective student/applicant to ask questions and advocate for themselves. It is also a chance for an admission staff member to learn more about a student in a one-on-one setting.
